Eric Sean Fogel
The boy and now the man behind CYC’s mission today is credited to ERIC SEAN FOGEL. He joined as a fifth grader in 1989, performed and worked tech for 9 years, choreographed for 4 years, and continued to be our guest choreographer, Artistic Director, and Master Dance Class Instructor every summer through 2007. Eric’s legacy is that dance tells a story, is fluid, eye catching, clever, original, imaginative, and passionate. Amanda Long Robertson (performer and Director for 18 years) continued this vision from her first dance teacher, Eric, today as she became CYC’s head choreographer in 2005. Eric has been an associate choreographer on Broadway and several national tours as well as performed nationally and internationally. Today he choreographs for the Kennedy Center and for Glimmerglass and lives in NYC. (link to ESF youtube video)
